CHAMPION
This tractor brand only existed for a short time, from 1952 to 1960. These machines were built by CÉRÈS in France. The diesel engines had already proven themselves in the early years after WW2 as replacements for the engines of American tractors donated to France under the Marshall Plan. There is a dispute about the number of tractors produced (based on internet research) ... the truth is somewhere between 5000 and 7000 units. Several Champion types were produced: Elan, Comet, Dauphin, Junior, Tenor, and Alto.
