COMMON SENSE


The Common Sense Gas Tractor Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota, built the first tractor with an 8 cylinder engine. The Common Sense tractor had a horsepower rating of 20-40 and was rated to pull a four bottom plow. It sold for $2,200, and was manufactured from 1916 to 1919.
